SEO marketing note - Google Page RankGoogle page rank moved from 3 to 4 within approximately 1 week of changing this site to Drupal site and adding a few blogging posts. Pretty cool! That gets me a little more excited about redesigning and promoting learncentrix. Other current page ranks for our sites: www.learncentrix.com has PR 3 Both customercentrix and learncentrix have had a PR of 3 for a while (since I started looking at it a year or more ago). The google page rank is a number from 0-10 that generally determines how "important" your site is. Yahoo home page is currently 9 and Google's home page is a 10; now there's a surprise. The page rank is determined by google's proprietary algorithm that takes lots of factors into account, but one of the biggest is a weighting of the number of links from other pages to the page being ranked. These links are weighted higher if the linking page has a high page rank. By Roger Campbell at Aug 17 2005 - 10:17am
