Load Testing and e-Learning

CustomerCentrix offers a load testing tool and a corporate e-Learning solution.

Load testing

LoadStorm is a load testing tool for web application developers. The most important aspect of LoadStorm is how easy and inexpensive it is to use.

Load testing has always been a nice-to-have for developers. Rarely does a software product budget include a large portion for any type of performance testing. And what little budget is carved out in the beginning is usually cannibalized for functional testing.

In the past it was expensive to load test. Traditional software packages cost tens of thousands of dollars and require lots of hardware to support large numbers of virtual users in order to simulate even a few hundred concurrent system users.

LoadStorm is innovative because it is built on a cloud computing infrastructure. This allows a test plan to be executed with an unlimited number of simulated users because the necessary horsepower can be ramped up and down within minutes. Thus, there is an extremely efficient model for our load testing tool to exploit.

Our innovative architecture results in a cost-effective load testing solution for the thousands of web developers that have been unable to afford the luxury until now.

The design of LoadStorm focuses on ease-of-use. A developer can create a valid load test with scenarios and steps in minutes without the aid of a professional testing analyst. Most of the traditional solutions require significant training (or certification) before load testing can be designed or executed.

LoadStorm supports Agile testing, test-driven development, and specification-based testing. LoadStorm is a load testing tool for web application developers, written by web developers.

e-Learning

LearnCentrix is a flexible, web-based instructional tool that provides a solution to the challenge of continuing education in the workplace. If your company has employees at different locations, there is no need to have them travel to one site; workers can be trained while sitting at their desks. Courses can be self-paced or involve interactive virtual classroom sessions with instructors. LearnCentrix is a very cost-effective alternative to traditional classroom education.

LearnCentrix is designed to allow course developers to tailor courses to the needs of students. Courses consist of a series of individual topics and each topic can be of a different type or structure. For example, you can type your own words, include images, refer to other web sites, access other files (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.) or open another application. One topic could involve interaction with an instructor while another topic could be self-paced. And you can design quizzes, assessments and course evaluations. When students "take" the course, they simply step through the topics.

We offer LearnCentrix to corporations as an outsourced web-hosted application. The web-based approach is conducive to distance learning, distributed development, and inexpensive connection. As an application service provider, we can lower total cost of ownership by eliminating a need for hardware and software purchases, as well as network and system maintenance. Corporate intranets may be used for training administration functions as long as they can be configured to allow secured access to LearnCentrix through the corporation's "firewall," if one exists. Customers should not need to purchase new software packages to utilize LearnCentrix.
